Why do we need health-conscious candles?
Candles throughout human history have been a comfort, a reminder of the sun's warmth, a tool, and a savior. While electric lights dominate our modern world, nothing can change the beauty and solace a candle provides.
However, over time, the nature of modern candles has changed. Readily available candles are now made with chemicals and fragrance oils. More and more people are finding their health is negatively impacted by these additives.
Because of this, my family developed what we like to call "scent-sitive candles". We wanted to enjoy candles in our lives and ritual practices that wouldn't leave us with headaches or stuffy noses later that night.
Our all-natural candles use organic soy or beeswax*, Therapeutic Grade essential oils, and hemp wicks. This has been a wonder for our family, and we hope it will help others as well. In addition, we've developed a line of wax melts in each scent for people looking to avoid the burning of wicks at all. You can find our wax melts here.
